Just Like A Real Hamster Without The Mess

The company that makes these toy hamsters, Cepia, touts them as “just like a real hamster, but without the mess.”

Pretty catchy, huh?

Not only are these little fuzzy, toy hamsters cute and cuddly, each one also comes in its own distinct color. (So you won’t be able to buy one and then tell your child it is a different one – they will know by its color.) Each toy  hamster also makes slightly different sounds, due to their lifestyle and has their own personality that allows them to make those unique sounds.

The most popular, and best selling, of these four little fuzzy creatures is Mr Squiggles. He is a light brown color and one reason children may like him so much is because his light brown fur is the closest of all of the toy hamsters to a real hamster.

Children also love Mr Squiggles because when he is put in Explore Mode he moves around fast and furious and makes some very hysterical sounds when he bumps into things.

Of course Zhu Zhu Pet Hamsters aren’t meant to be without their habitat and toys. So the manufacturer made some accessories for these pets. They are the Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster Funhouse, the Zhu Zhu Hamster Adventure Ball and the Zhu Zhu Hamster Wheel.

All three of these accessories are fun and your children will have hours of fun playing with their Zhu Zhu pets zooming in and out, around, and with these accessories. The Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster Funhouse is really the core central hub of the pets’ habitat.

The funhouse contains two main hubs that contain a kitchen, bathroom and bedroom and has a connecting tunnel between them. This combination allows the hamsters to demonstrate their scurrying skills.

What Are The Parents Saying

Almost all the reviews give the Zhu Zhu Pet Hamster toys 4 or 5 stars out of 5 stars.  All of them said their kids loved the little hamsters.

One reviewer even went so far as to say that their cat liked the little things. Although I doubt that was the manufacturer’s intention.

One complaint that was spoken by most all reviewers was that the pet hamsters sold out so fast. When they when to purchase the toy they either found they were sold out and had to scurry around to find one. That great demand led some parents to paying inflated prices for them.

These furry little toy pet hamsters, made by Cepia, are all the rage on those Saturday morning cartoon commercials. That means that your kids are going to see those commercials and want one. They are already in high demand, with demand being greater than supply.

If you, as a parent are going to purchase one, or all, of these cute, furry, toy pet hamsters or their accessories, make sure you  have your children play with them safely. And most importantly, you will need to buy them as soon as possible. The longer you wait, the harder it will be to find them.
